Woman Alive

Do you read a woman’s magazine? If so, can you honestly say that you read it from cover to cover?

For those of us who see this monthly Christian magazine, we can say – we do read it from cover to cover – and re-read some of it too.

It is very well edited and produced with excellent content, written by a large range of ages of Christian ladies, who have experienced for themselves the Love of God, and the relevance of Jesus Christ in their day to day lives.

There are heart-rending stories of people who have suffered illness, disability and loss, but with the power of the Holy Spirit have overcome apparently unsurmountable problems.

There are stories of encouragement, and studies of Biblical passages and current thinking,

We encourage you to consider taking this magazine regularly.

If you would like to see a copy for yourself, please ask Beryl if you can borrow one.

Read more on the Woman Alive website.

For a more in-depth read – try the Biblical novels by Davis Bunn and Janette Oke, of which there are now three titles:- The Centurion’s Wife, The Hidden Flame and The Road to Damascus. They follow the Resurrection and Ascension, talking of the ‘Followers of the Way’, who spread the Gospel out of Jerusalem and into the Gentile world.

Enthralling reading which involves you in the action, even if it happened 2000 years ago!

Sue Butler, Joanne Phipps, Jan Greenough, Margaret Ellwood, Diane Livesley and Beryl Fudge
