Messy Church

Bob telling a Bible Story

Messy Church is a different way of being the church.

It's a chance to build community,to reach local families who don't come
to church on Sunday, and offer them fun,
fellowship and friendship.

It isn't necesarily messy (though the cake-making corner does get a bit chocolatey), neither is it a cunning plan to lure people into Sunday services. Messy Church is a congregation in its own right - after all, we meet people and make friends, we do activities linked to a Bible story or theme, we sing songs and pray together, and then we share a meal. That sounds like a reasonable definition of what church does.

Messy Church events are held on Saturday mornings 10.30 - 12.30.
